Covia is looking for a dynamic Bagger Operator who will have a positive impact on the Production team at its McIntyre , GA location. The successful candidate will have the following

Key Accountabilities:

Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety regulations and safe work practices and assuring all equipment has been inspected and is in a safe working condition. Any unsafe conditions shall be reported to your supervisor. Efficiently operate bagging and palletizing equipment. Perform duties and responsibilities as defined in applicable Procedures and Work Instructions. Program ink-jet bag labeling system according to workorder instructions. Conduct effective workplace examinations prior to each shift to identify potential safety hazards. Perform minor routine maintenance on bagging equipment, as required. Maintain working area in clean and safe working order at all times. Perform routine sample collection according to plant procedures. Communicate pertinent information to plant supervision. Flex work schedule including rotating shifts and some weekend work Assist other plant areas as requested. The successful incumbent will have the following

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to work with normal supervision Effective communication skills Ability to climb ladders and stairs/work from heights Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 60 lbs Problem solving and troubleshooting skills Basic mathematical and mechanical aptitude Commitment to
