Retail Sales Associate

Aloha! We are ʻUlu Mana, a fast-growing food manufacturing and retail business located in Honolulu. We specialize in processing locally grown produce such as ʻulu (breadfruit), cassava, and sweet potato. We also manufacture Keith's Cookies, our line of delicious shortbread cookies. We are seeking an experienced, full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive top-tier customer service while shopping at our factory retail store. This position is ideal for someone interested in local agriculture, value-added products, or learning the ins and outs of a growing local business. In this role, you will assist customers with their shopping needs, maintain store appearance and inventory, and contribute to achieving sales goals.

Schedule:

Any 4 days, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM the schedule may include one weekday off and a Saturday shift from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. On-site parking may be available. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Provide product samples (cookies, chips, hummus, etc.). Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately. Answer customer questions about breadfruit, cassava, and other local products (training provided). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas. Restock shelves and help manage inventory levels. Assist with light production tasks such as sealing pouches, packing boxes, and labeling products. Prepare limited café items (acai bowls, iced coffee, pineapple iced tea) as ordered. Answer customer inquiries over the phone. When store duties are complete, assist the manufacturing team with packaging and labeling products. Qualifications Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in a retail sales, food service, or managerial role. Must have high school diploma or GED; some college (1-2 years or more) preferred. Must be available to work full time.
