Check-In Agent (Part-Time) Ko Olina Ocean Adventures | Ko Olina, Oahu Do you love the ocean, enjoy meeting new people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Ko Olina Ocean Adventures is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and dependable Check-In Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests boarding our catamaran Holole'a Kai , you'll play a key role in creating memorable experiences from the moment they arrive. We're looking for someone who embodies the aloha spirit, enjoys working outdoors, and can provide exceptional customer service while helping guests prepare for their ocean adventure. Responsibilities Greet and check in guests for daily snorkeling tours. Provide a warm, welcoming experience that reflects the spirit of aloha Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests with questions and reservations Process payments and accurately handle cash transactions Promote and sell company merchandise Assist guests with tour information, directions, and general inquiries Communicate effectively with captains and crew to ensure smooth operations Maintain a calm, positive, and solution-oriented attitude during busy periods or unexpected situations Qualifications Friendly, personable, and professional attitude Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable working outdoors in Hawaii weather Basic knowledge of the ocean, marine life, and outdoor activities preferred Experience handling cash and processing transactions Comfortable using computers, typing, and learning reservation systems Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well under pressure Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, retail, or customer service is a plus Sales Opportunity Sales are an important part of this position. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with guests and helping them find merchandise, gifts, and enhancements to make their experience even more memorable. This role includes opportunities to earn commission through merchandise sales.
