This position is great for someone desiring to work Upcountry. As the only winery on Maui, we offer wine tasting experiences in a historic destination. We are farmers, winemakers, storytellers, and gracious hosts. Working for Maui Wine is to join a small community of people who take pride in crafting, sharing, and selling our locally produced wines. The Sales and Hospitality role is multi-faceted and suited for those that thrive in a team environment; and comfortable with taking initiative and working in unison with a cohesive team. This position is 3 or 4 days a week and does require weekend availability. Shift hours are between 10a - 6p. Tuesday - Sunday Great benefits which include healthcare, 401k, Vacation and Sick leave and employee discounts. Eligibility is dependent on schedule commitment. Job duties include but are not limited to: Hosting as a service ambassador by welcoming and seating customers. Providing personalized table service with high-level guest interaction. Educate guests on the different styles of wine produced, guide guest on tasting and bottle sales. Preparing and serving orders that can include wine flights, food orders, and wine by the glass. Assisting with all aspects of tasting room service, including organization, cleaning, setup/breakdown. Supporting wine purchases and wine club signups. Food preparation as needed following Department of Health Safety Guidelines. Occasional special events, wine releases and club pick up parties. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older & a current Maui resident. Obtain a current Maui Department Liquor Control Certification Card. Excellent communicator with a passion for customer engagement and hospitality Minimum of 2 years customer service related/hospitality experience preferred. Naturally self-motivated and interested in learning Obtain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to bend and lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods of time. We look forward to meeting you.

$22.00 - $32.00 per hour
