Piano Sales Associate Overview:

Brock Family Music is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Piano Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your love for music and expertise in pianos to provide exceptional service, guide customers through their purchasing decisions, and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations. If you enjoy connecting with people, sharing your musical knowledge, and creating memorable customer experiences, we'd love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and engage with customers, understanding their musical needs and preferences. Provide expert guidance on piano models, features, and benefits to help customers make informed decisions. Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any ongoing needs.

Sales & Product Expertise:

Demonstrate extensive product knowledge of acoustic and digital pianos, including maintenance and tuning considerations. Conduct in-store demonstrations and answer technical questions related to piano functionality. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, new products, and competitive offerings.

Operations & Coordination:

Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash and electronic payments. Assist with inventory management, including organizing displays and restocking products. Coordinate with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth delivery and setup of purchased pianos.

Relationship Building:

Cultivate long-term relationships with customers, local music educators, and community partners. Participate in community events, in-store workshops, and demonstrations to promote the Brock Family Music brand. Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve individual and store-wide sales targets.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the musical instruments industry. Demonstrated passion for music, with a strong understanding of pianos and their features. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex technical details in an accessible manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and special events as required.
