This position is 20 hours per week. There may be an opportunity for additional hours based on performance, availability, and business demand. The Sales Associate will be responsible for greeting customers with a warm smile, delivering a high level of customer service and demonstrating accuracy and efficiency when processing customer purchases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner as they enter the store
• Provide information to customers about products and events
• Assemble displays and display merchandise neatly to maximize visibility and sales
• Perform the inventorying of merchandise
• Utilize computers, bar readers and other electronic devices
• Perform general cleaning duties, assuring the store looks its best
• Provide feedback to management on product sales, inventory losses, scanning error and general issues
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the

Store Owner Job Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• One year of previous retail experience is a plus!
• A positive and outgoing personality
• Ability to recognize and execute sales opportunities
• Excellent customer service skills

Physical Requirements/ Environment:

• Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bending and stooping
• Ability to climb on ladders and stools
