Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, including product demos and recommendations Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions efficiently and handle cash, credit, or digital payments with precision Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Conduct stock replenishment and stocking duties to keep the sales floor well-stocked and inviting Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and maintaining positive communication etiquette over the phone or in person Assist with inventory management, including merchandising, stock rotation, and inventory counts Qualifications Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for engaging diverse customers effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for retail transactions is important Experience with grocery store operations or similar environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with friendly phone etiquette and professional demeanor Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed Join us in creating a lively shopping atmosphere where every customer leaves happy!
