Outdoors:
Located in the Boise National Forest, Bogus Basin offers year-round activities; from skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing in the winter to mountain biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides in the summer. Employees enjoy the perks of mountain life with none of the resort town isolation. The Mountain Ticket Office (MTO) Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional service while completing guest transactions during the Summer operating season. Essential Functions of the Job
  • Provide general information and assist guests in all selections and transactions of summer activities.
  • Account for balancing daily transactions to cash receipts.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Ticket Office including filing, answering phones, and other duties as assigned.
  • Handle all incoming lost & found phone inquiries.
  • Communicate by radio for daily activities and for any emergencies.
  • Assist guests with Daily Use lockers.
  • Organize, clean, and maintain individual sales stations and the general sales office. Non-Essential Functions of the Job
  • Assist with special projects, as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required. Requirements
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic sales and/ or cash handling experience.
  • Knowledge of and experience with computers (Windows).
  • Knowledge of and experience with general accounting procedures.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of currency.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to make sound decisions under stressful situations.
  • Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.
  • Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards guests and staff.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work June through August Working Conditions
  • Majority of time spent in an indoor ticket office environment.
