  • Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and assisting with product demonstrations. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Process customer transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist customers with product inquiries and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring all products are displayed attractively. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing training and guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques. Utilize basic math skills to perform retail math calculations for discounts, returns, and exchanges. Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with an understanding of retail math concepts. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated ability to supervise or lead a team effectively is a plus. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
