Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance. Process retail sales using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Assist customers with golf equipment, apparel, and accessory purchases. Schedule tee times and answer phone inquiries. Maintain merchandise displays and ensure the shop is clean and organized. Receive, stock, and inventory merchandise. Assist with tournament registrations and event check-ins. Handle customer questions regarding course policies, rates, and services. Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling. Promote club memberships, lessons, and special events when appropriate. Qualifications Previous retail, customer service, or golf industry experience is an asset. Basic knowledge of golf equipment and terminology preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately. Dependable, organized, and customer-focused. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed.
