Division Spokane WA. 99202 or email office@16cents.com Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and engage them with enthusiasm to understand their furniture and mattress needs Conduct product demos to showcase features, comfort levels, and benefits of various furniture items and mattresses Assist customers in selecting products by providing detailed information on materials, sizes, styles, and features Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention and promote featured products Handle all aspects of POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments Upsell complementary products such as bedding accessories or furniture care items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, inviting, and well-maintained at all times Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries or scheduling appointments Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals while adhering to store policies and procedures Experience Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in furniture or home goods environments Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills with the ability to convey product benefits clearly and confidently Experience with merchandising, stocking, or retail math enhances your ability to succeed in this role Prior experience in grocery stores or similar retail settings can provide a solid foundation for success in customer service roles Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to helping customers create beautiful homes!
