Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and gardening products Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, handle cash transactions accurately, and manage retail math calculations Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure products are well-presented to attract customer interest Assist customers with product selection based on their needs, offering advice on horticulture techniques or landscape projects Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment to promote a safe and inviting shopping space Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with merchandise replenishment Engage in cross-selling opportunities by promoting e-commerce options or seasonal items to enhance sales Requirements Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Passion for gardening, horticulture, floral design, or outdoor maintenance; prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is beneficial Familiarity with retail operations including cashiering, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math Excellent organizational skills to manage stocking tasks and merchandising displays effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and proactive attitude Basic knowledge of retail sales techniques and merchandising strategies This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while sharing their love for outdoor living.
