Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, sports and fitness. As well as a strong understanding of retail operations. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The Retail Sales Associate will also be responsible for maintaining store appearance and inventory levels. . Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling. Demonstrate product knowledge to enhance customer experience Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping experience. Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that highlight promotions and new products. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing inventory in the backroom. Ensure compliance with store policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Familiarity with sports and fitness is necessary. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse customers. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
