About the role Radius Chicago is one of the city's top live music and event venues. We host thousands of guests every month for concerts, club nights, and private events — and we need sharp, dependable security professionals to keep every show running safely. If you have experience in venue or nightlife security and know how to manage a crowd with professionalism and calm, we'd love to connect. Responsibilities Check IDs and manage guest access at entry pointsPatrol assigned areas and respond to incidents quickly and professionally. Enforce venue policies — capacity limits, prohibited items, bag checkCoordinate with management, production crew, and law enforcement as needed. Manage crowd flow during load-in, load-out, and post-show File incident reports accurately and on time QualificationsValid Illinois PERC card (required) 1+ year of venue, nightclub, or event security experience preferred Strong de-escalation and communication skills Able to stand for extended periods in loud, high-energy environmentsAvailable evenings, weekends, and holidays CPR/First Aid certification a plus Benefits $18-$20 per hour Flexible event-based schedule Access to live events & shows Collaborative team culture
