Responsibilities:
Welcome and connect with customers in a friendly and professional way, serving as a knowledgeable and approachable resource. Answer questions and share information about cannabis products. Provide product recommendations tailored to customers' preferences, needs, and desired effects. Keep informed about the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods. Understand the distinctions between different strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their effects, and educate customers on appropriate dosage and consumption techniques. Adhere to all local and state cannabis regulations, including age verification and identification checks. Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory as required by law. Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with all safety and security protocols. Effectively promote sales by upselling and cross-selling related products; provide pricing information and explain discounts or promotions to customers. Handle cash transactions and use the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. Complete required training sessions and stay up to date product knowledge. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Previous retail or sales experience preferred, with a proven track record of meeting sales goals. Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic. Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be 21 years of age with the ability to pass State required background qualifications.
