The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced grocery store environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies. Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
