As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to enhance customer interactions. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store environment. Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels. Upsell additional products to customers by identifying their needs and suggesting relevant items. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn about products and services offered.
