Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches with enthusiasm and professionalism Prepare high-quality coffee beverages using various brewing methods and equipment, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met Handle food preparation tasks including warming sandwiches, pastries, and maintaining food safety standards Operate POS system accurately for transactions, cash handling, and sales processing Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining quality standards Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Skills Previous barista experience or coffee knowledge is highly desirable to deliver exceptional beverage service Familiarity with POS system for smooth transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment while maintaining attention to detail 18 years of age or older This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about delivering great coffee experiences while honing their skills in food and customer service operations.
