Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Store Clerk, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, ensuring smooth operations, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining an organized and attractive sales floor. Your energy and proactive attitude will contribute to a positive shopping experience that keeps customers coming back. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service through active communication and attentive listening Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges Assist with product demos to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards Handle cash, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity and accuracy Upsell products by recommending additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or directing calls to appropriate departments Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a broader customer base Experience supervising or leading others is beneficial but not required; leadership qualities are valued Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and basic math for retail transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising Join us if you're eager to bring energy into a fast-paced retail setting while delivering top-notch service.
