Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and effective communication. Assist customers in locating auto parts, accessories, and related products using inventory management systems and POS (Point of Sale) terminals. Provide expert advice on vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and product features to enhance customer satisfaction. Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, organizing stockrooms, conducting stock counts, and ensuring product availability. Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit card payments, and cash handling procedures with professionalism. Maintain a clean, organized retail space by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product labels are accurate. Collaborate with team members on order fulfillment, inventory management, and promotional marketing efforts to boost sales performance. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or dealership environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair enhances your ability to serve customers effectively. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills help close sales confidently. Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency in using inventory management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), Microsoft Excel, POS systems, and retail math tools is desirable. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels efficiently and handle order fulfillment accurately. Experience with dealership operations or automotive service centers will provide valuable context for customer interactions.
