Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate

Wm. F. Meyer Co. is a family-owned plumbing distributor serving Chicago-land. We have an immediate need to fill a full-time Counter/Warehouse sales position at our Lake Bluff location.

Responsibilities include the following:

Assisting customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at our location Process Sales Orders generated at the counter. Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications and pricing Assisting team members in servicing customers, answering phone calls, stocking product, and pulling orders for delivery or will call pickup. Process cash sale returns and refund paperwork. Maintaining cleanliness of counter area and ensuring merchandise displays remain stocked, current, and neat. Use of a handheld RF computer device Receive, count, and verify incoming shipments Pick materials for orders and package the materials for shipment/pick up Load/unload trucks and operate forklifts safely. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety.
