This role requires bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) , strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent service to both contractors and walk-in customers. The Store Associate contributes to product handling, inventory accuracy, online order fulfillment, and overall store efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support the Store Manager with daily operational tasks and store workflows. Perform day-to-day duties including customer assistance, stocking incoming product, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organized facility. Accurately enter and process customer orders while delivering exceptional service. Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of materials. Monitor stock levels, perform inventory audits, and maintain records using store management and inventory systems. Partner with the e-commerce team to fulfill online orders promptly and accurately. Safely operate and learn store equipment; adhere to all safety procedures and regulatory standards. Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve customer needs and operational issues. Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management in both English and Spanish Assist in identifying opportunities to improve operational processes and workflow efficiency. Provide in-store support to contractors and trade professionals regarding product selection and purchasing. Maintain a clean, professional store environment both inside and outside. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience working in building materials, construction supply, hardware, industrial products, or a similar environment preferred. Knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment processes. Experience using inventory or store management systems. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform regular physical tasks. Ability to learn and operate tow motors/forklifts (training provided). Mechanical aptitude or comfort troubleshooting equipment is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork abilities with a customer-first mindset. Digital/computer literacy and attention to detail required. English and Spanish fluency required.
