Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Store Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional customer experiences! Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs, offering product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and basic math calculations for accurate billing. Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves regularly to ensure the store looks inviting and products are easy to find. Conduct upselling techniques by recommending additional items or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with product replenishment to keep the store well-stocked at all times. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and practicing proper phone etiquette when assisting remote or phone-in customers. Support supervisory staff with supervising team members when needed, helping to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities. Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math ensures accurate transactions. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and inventory management. Experience with merchandising, stocking, product demos, upselling techniques, and grocery store operations is advantageous. Excellent phone etiquette skills combined with a friendly attitude help create positive interactions both in person and over the phone.
