Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about plant care, landscaping techniques, and seasonal trends. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently by organizing merchandise and ensuring products are properly labeled and displayed to maximize sales. Maintain a clean and organized store environment through regular stocking, merchandising, and tidying up displays. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. Support e-commerce initiatives by assisting with online order pickups or inquiries when needed. Skills Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and floral design to offer expert advice. Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, cash handling, and retail math for accurate transactions. Excellent organizational skills to manage stocking routines and maintain attractive merchandise displays. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding customer service. Familiarity with merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation and promote seasonal or promotional items. Demonstrated teamwork skills along with the ability to independently handle responsibilities efficiently.
