The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology sales, a proven track record of prospecting and closing new business, and extensive experience selling directly to local businesses through field-based sales activities. This is an outside sales role that requires proactive lead generation, door-to-door prospecting, cold calling, and in-person visits to business offices and manufacturing facilities.

Incentives :
$1000 to $2500 per client acquisition - subject to the variable of product sold. Duties Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory. Conduct door-to-door sales visits and walk-in introductions to manufacturing and equipment companies. Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and field prospecting. Conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations. Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, operations managers, plant managers, and decision-makers. Understand customer business challenges and recommend appropriate technology solutions. Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and sales forecasts in CRM systems. Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Requirements 5-7 years of successful outside sales experience in the local Chicago Northwest Suburbs market. Proven experience selling technology products, software, IT services, automation solutions, industrial technology, or related technology offerings. Strong prospecting and business development skills. Experience targeting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), preferably within manufacturing or industrial sectors. Demonstrated success in cold calling, door-to-door sales, and face-to-face customer acquisition. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Valid driver's license for local travel.
