The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions efficiently, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role is vital in ensuring smooth store operations and fostering customer loyalty through excellent communication and sales skills. Duties Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are stocked appropriately Perform stocking duties to keep shelves organized and replenished Conduct retail sales activities, including promoting store promotions and new products Provide friendly phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts as needed Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to optimize product availability Support in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Experience in retail sales, merchandising, and stock management Basic math skills for cashiering and retail math calculations Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance sales opportunities Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs Supervising experience is desirable for leadership roles within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not required Professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or in person This position offers an engaging work environment where your interpersonal skills and sales expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and store success.
