Store Retail Associate

Summary of Position:

The Store Retail Associate is responsible for restocking items within the liquor store, keeping the store organized and clean, and running the cash register. They are part of a team environment geared toward exceeding customer expectations within the store.

Essential Functions:

• Follow proper cash handling procedures and giving correct change
• Receive and stock all incoming deliveries to the liquor store
• Responsible for keeping the store clean and organized. Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedule. Pick up trash, sweep, dust, and mop regularly.
• Always provide the highest quality of service to the guest while anticipating and exceeding customer expectations.
• Encourage customers to join the Loyalty Program
• Answer questions about products and upsell customers
• Answer the telephone answering all questions from the customer
• Must communicate properly and effectively with the customer, associates, and managers.
• Attend work on time as scheduled
• Practice safety standards and keep the property safe for guests and fellow associates.
• Report unsafe conditions and suspicious activity to Store Manager or proper chain of command
• Lift, carry, or otherwise move 25lbs regularly or 40lbs occasionally
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear
• Must follow uniform guidelines
• Follow proper key control procedures
• Able to work independently and by themselves on a shift
• Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.
• Must stock coolers and shelves daily/nightly before end of shift per store requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$10.00 - $11.00 per hour
