Overview Join our dynamic team as a Guest Service Associate at the Hilton Garden Inn Carmel. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, assists with their needs, and ensures a seamless shopping environment. Your positive energy and excellent communication skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere, making each guest feel valued and appreciated. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently Assist customers with product demos, answering questions and highlighting features to enhance their experience Manage stock levels by merchandising products, stocking shelves, and ensuring displays are attractive and organized Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone Support retail sales efforts through effective communication, cashiering, and cash handling procedures Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiastic learners are welcome Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling better service to diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members Supervising experience is beneficial for leadership opportunities within the team Knowledge of grocery store operations or merchandising techniques is a plus Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain professional phone etiquette Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels exceptional guest experiences!
