Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently and securely Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales through upselling techniques Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an attractive and organized store layout Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash, credit card, and mobile payments Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and participating in regular stock replenishments Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities Demonstrate strong communication skills when collaborating with team members and assisting bilingual customers Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantageous Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding new team members or managing shifts Experience conducting product demos or upselling techniques enhances effectiveness in this role Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of grocery store operations can be beneficial for understanding retail environments Strong basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash transactions and inventory counts This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail career while delivering memorable shopping experiences.
