What You'll Be Doing:
Deliver exceptional service and create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for every customer. Assist customers with product information, recommendations, and special requests. Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to maintain quality and visual appeal. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety across your department. Learn and use technology to complete daily tasks efficiently. Support teammates and help maintain smooth department operations. Uphold Meijer's standards for food safety, freshness, and customer care.
Roles may include positions in:
Deli, Bakery, Produce, Meat, Grocery, General Merchandise, Pricing, Inventory & Merchandising, Online Grocery (Curbside Pickup), and Courtesy.
What You Bring With You:
A positive attitude and passion for helping others. Strong communication and listening skills. Detail-oriented and reliable, with a focus on accuracy and quality. Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a team. Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Retail, food service, or customer-facing experience preferred but not required — we'll train you!
