Job Description
Job Summary Join our team at the Roller Cave as a Box Office Attendant, where you will be the welcoming face and friendly voice for our guests! In this role you will sell wristbands utilizing a POS system and cash drawer; assist skaters at the Stuff Shop with ticket redemption; assist in managing our DJ Booth with customer requests and games! You will assist with guests questions and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for all visitors coming to skate! Your enthusiasm and customer service skills will help create skating memories to last a lifetime! Duties Selling tickets at the window utilizing a POS system and cash drawer accurately Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, guiding guests, and resolving concerns promptly Assist with guest services such as directing guests to correct areas, being knowledgeable about information for the rink and managing crowd flow Handle conflicts or disputes professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests Assisting skaters at the Stuff Shop with ticket redemption, restocking the prize counter and assistanting with game malfunctions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the box office area to present a welcoming environment Requirements Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or food service is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently in public speaking situations Experience with conflict management and resolving guest concerns preferred Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS (Point of Sale) systems Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of current, popular music that fit multiple genres Willing to speak on the microphone to make announcements to the rink preferred This role as part of our Roller Cave team is great for anyone passionate about creating memories to last a lifetime!
