Job Summary Five Star Marketplace is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as Team Members. This is a hands-on role that supports daily store operations, including assisting customers, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who is willing to learn, step in where needed, and contribute to a positive and efficient workplace. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Assist with daily store tasks to ensure smooth operations Help with opening and closing duties as assigned Follow company policies, safety procedures, and store standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Inventory, Stocking & Merchandising Receive and process incoming inventory and deliveries Stock shelves and rotate products as needed Keep shelves faced, organized, and fully stocked Assist with maintaining backroom organization Verify pricing and product placement accuracy Customer Service Provide friendly and efficient customer service Assist customers with questions, product location, and purchases Handle basic customer concerns and escalate when needed Help maintain a welcoming store environment Team Support Work collaboratively with team members and leadership Take direction and complete tasks efficiently Assist in training and supporting new team members when needed Adapt to changing priorities and tasks throughout the shift Qualifications Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Positive attitude and willingness to learn Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred (or currently enrolled) Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Schedule Full-time and part-time positions available Mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts Flexible scheduling based on availability Additional Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation to and from work Must be able to pass a background check (required for all hires) Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Stable, long-term employment opportunity Opportunities for growth and advancement About Five Star Marketplace Five Star Marketplace is a locally focused grocery store serving the Knox, Indiana community with pride.
