Job Summary The Sales & Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily yard operations including customer service, parts sales, cash and scale transactions, and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide exceptional service at point of sale and during inquiries Handle cash, credit card, and scale transactions with accuracy and integrity Weigh incoming and outgoing materials including scrap, vehicles, and parts; provide correct pricing Accurately complete and maintain financial and inventory records Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing and compatibility Maintain and update pricing as direct by the Sales Director Collaborate with the yard team to ensure inventory accuracy and effective workflow Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to support repeat business Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage operations Perform related duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Basic math proficiency Good computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
