The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively. A passion for retail and a commitment to enhancing the shopping experience are essential. Responsibilities Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection. Utilize phone etiquette to manage incoming calls professionally and assist customers with their needs. Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of store products to provide accurate information and conduct product demos when necessary. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. Perform retail math calculations for inventory management and sales tracking. Handle cash responsibly, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. Experience Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
