Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Salesperson to join our automotive sales team! In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional customer service, promoting our vehicle inventory, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help customers find the perfect vehicle to meet their needs while building lasting relationships. Whether assisting customers on the showroom floor or managing inventory, your proactive approach will contribute to our dealership's success. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and recommend suitable vehicles based on features, budgets, and preferences. Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics and explain repair or maintenance options clearly to clients. Negotiate pricing, financing options, and service packages to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage vehicle inventory, including stock control, order fulfillment, and updating records using dealership management systems (CMMS). Assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling, ensuring all cars are prepared for sale and meet quality standards. Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using Microsoft Excel and other organizational tools. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers or new arrivals to attract potential buyers. Ensure the showroom and lot are well-stocked, clean, and organized through effective stocking and organizational skills. Experience Prior dealership experience or retail sales background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for automotive sales is essential. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair processes, and vehicle maintenance techniques. Proven negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently while maintaining positive customer relationships. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for connecting with diverse customer bases. Familiarity with dealership management software (CMMS), POS systems, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with phone etiquette expertise to engage customers effectively. Experience in automotive service or repair environments will be advantageous in understanding technical aspects of vehicles.
