Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Greet customers warmly, offering assistance and product demos to enhance their shopping journey Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with attention to detail and integrity Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting store environment Assist with stocking, inventory management, and product replenishment throughout the store Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues Support supervising staff during busy periods, ensuring smooth store operations and excellent service delivery Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities Engage in product knowledge sharing to educate customers about features and benefits Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail math essential for accurate transactions Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team support roles Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for checkout processes Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos beneficial for supporting store presentation Familiarity with grocery store operations is preferred but not required Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your proactive attitude makes a difference!
