Job Summary:

Join our team as a Diesel Technician where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of mostly heavy equipment, semi trucks and machinery. We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in heavy equipment, farm machinery, and industrial equipment. The candidate must have several years experience in heavy diesel diagnostics, and repair. This it NOT an on the job training opportunity. In position you will run shop. As shop foreman you will ensure the equipment that we use in our day to day small operation is in good working order. You will be in charge of keeping a small fleet of dump trucks, semis and support type equipment rolling. Doing maintenance and any major repairs that come up. Must be self motivated and enjoy working on trucks and equipment!

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to diagnose technical mechanical issues, and find the root of a problem to make repairs to get trucks and equipment back up and running.

We are not looking to train someone.

• Maintain and repair farm and construction machinery to keep operations running smoothly.
• Utilize hand tools for troubleshooting and fixing equipment issues.
• Solder components when necessary for repairs.
• Inspect and service trucks and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Transmit data accurately for diagnostic and reporting purposes.

Experience:

• Proven experience in maintenance and repair of, heavy equipment , and farm machinery and trucks.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment servicing procedures.
• Previous work as a service technician is a must.
