Overview Join our vibrant retail team as a Retail Sales Associate and become the friendly face that helps customers find the perfect products for their gardening, landscaping, and outdoor needs. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and offer expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, floral design, and horticulture products. Assist customers in selecting merchandise, providing detailed product information and recommendations tailored to their needs. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations. Stock shelves efficiently, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques. Maintain organized inventory records, assist with stocking and inventory management to ensure product availability. Support e-commerce initiatives by helping customers with online orders or inquiries when applicable. Communicate effectively in English and other languages (if applicable) to serve a diverse customer base with excellent customer service skills. Qualifications Prior experience or strong interest in retail sales, customer service, or gardening-related fields such as horticulture or floral design is preferred. Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening tools and supplies is a plus. Basic proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, merchandising, and inventory management. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated enthusiasm for helping customers and sharing knowledge about gardening, floral design, or outdoor maintenance products.
