Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Parts Counter Associate to join our team! In this energetic role, you will serve as the vital link between our dealership and customers, providing exceptional service while managing parts inventory and sales. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive customer satisfaction and ensure smooth operations in our parts department. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories with clear communication and expert knowledge. Manage inventory levels using inventory management systems, ensuring accurate stock control and order fulfillment. Process sales transactions efficiently through POS (Point of Sale) systems, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism. Maintain organized stock areas by stocking, labeling, and rotating parts to optimize accessibility and inventory accuracy. Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to fulfill parts orders promptly, supporting automotive repair and service operations. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track parts availability and maintenance schedules. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating strong communication skills and product knowledge. Qualifications Previous experience in dealership or retail sales environments is preferred, especially with automotive parts or service. Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service is highly advantageous. Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management, stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control. Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, retail math, and basic computer applications. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Experience with dealership processes such as sales management, marketing, cash handling, cashiering, and phone etiquette is desirable. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
