Since 2001, we have served our community through two convenient locations, offering carefully curated toys and gifts along with complimentary gift wrapping for all occasions. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Playthings ToyShoppe. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, assisting customers with their selections, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for toys, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating positive experiences for our diverse clientele. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on a wide range of toys, games, and gifts Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, handle cash transactions, and process credit card payments Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked with popular items Support inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts Support store cleanliness and organization to ensure an inviting shopping environment Skills Knowledge of retail math including cash handling and POS operations Experience in retail sales, cashiering, and customer service roles Familiarity with merchandising techniques and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
