Retail or cashier experience preferred but not required Full-Time and Part-Tim Retail Associate Consumer Mall is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-oriented employees to join our team. Consumer Mall is a large vendor mall with over 100 vendors offering a wide variety of unique items, including collectibles, home décor, tools, arts and crafts, bedding, toys, appliances, furniture, and more. Every day brings something different, and our store attracts customers from across the tri-state area. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with people, staying busy, keeping the store organized, and helping create a positive shopping experience for every customer. Job Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate the cash register and complete customer transactions accurately Issue receipts, process payments, and provide correct change Assist with returns, exchanges, and customer questions Help wrap, bag, or prepare merchandise for customers Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked Process vendor tickets and purchases accurately Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Assist with restocking, straightening, and organizing merchandise Use the paging system or contact management when assistance is needed Monitor the store and report suspicious behavior, safety concerns, or customer issues to management Follow store policies, procedures, and security guidelines Perform other assigned tasks around the store and shopping center as needed Requirements:
Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Able to communicate clearly with customers, vendors, and co-workers Comfortable working in a busy retail environment Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Able to handle cash and complete transactions accurately Willing to help keep the store clean and organized Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Retail or cashier experience is helpful, but not required Consumer Mall is a fun and unique place to work, with new items, new customers, and new experiences every day.
