About FIND Outdoors:
FIND is a 50+-year-old nonprofit headquartered in Pisgah Forest, NC whose mission is to provide all people with education, recreational and interpretive opportunities about natural resources and cultural history. FIND Outdoors serves over 800,000 visitors each year with over 150 educational and recreational programs, special events, and tours, and manages 15 recreations, education, and camping facilities in North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia. In addition, FIND offers our visitors forest- related gifts, education resources, and provides partnership opportunities for the health of our forests and the safety of our forest users on public and private lands. Gladie Visitor Center - Visitor Center Associate Pine Ridge, KY Job description In this role, you will assist with the daily retail operations of the Visitor Center, ensuring inventory levels are consistently maintained and the store is fully stocked and organized. You will work closely with the site manager to help maintain the facilities and ensure they are in excellent condition for visitors. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries about the local area, attractions, and services, helping to create a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Support retail operations, including managing inventory and restocking shelves. Greet and assist visitors, answering questions about the local area, attractions, and services. Ensure the Visitor Center is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Process transactions and handle cash or point-of-sale systems.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
