Job Description
Run Wild is a running and lifestyle retail store that is passionate about being healthy, being properly fitted in comfortable shoes, and offering top notch customer service. We are looking for a customer service oriented person to fill a sales position in our locally owned running store. We strive to deliver an exceptional shopping experience by offering a wide selection of premium shoes with a proper fit as well as active apparel and gear. The ideal person would be dependable on executing their work duties, quick to learn and able to communicate effectively with customers.
- Schedule
- We are currently seeking someone who can work a varied schedule Monday
- Saturday. Hours of operation are Monday
- Friday 10am
- 6pm and Saturday 10am
- 4pm.

- We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team.
- Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a high level of customer service to build a loyal customer base.
- Engage in effective communication to understand customers' needs and preferences.
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately manage cash handling, process transactions, and handle returns and exchanges.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of retail products and be able to answer questions and provide product recommendations to customers.
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain store appearance, stock shelves, and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Actively promote products and services to customers through upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales strategies.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual skills are an asset, but not required.
- Strong retail sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register.
- Basic math skills to perform calculations and make change.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple priorities.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
