STORE CLERK General Statement:
We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Store Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and assist with daily operations to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food orders accurately and efficiently, while providing friendly service
- Operate cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise
- Keep store clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Prepare coffee, fountain drinks, and other convenience items as needed
- Monitor inventory and report low stock items
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries
- Check IDs and comply with all laws regarding age-restricted sales
- Answer customer questions and provide product/location assistance
- Perform basic cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash
- Help maintain safety and security of store and customers
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Basic math and money-handling skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
