Role:
Join our dynamic team at Furniture Mart as a Retail Sales Associate in Houma, LA! This exciting opportunity allows you to connect with customers and help them find the perfect furniture solutions for their homes.
Responsibilities:
Engage with customers to understand their furniture needs and preferences Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring displays are appealing Assist in inventory management and restocking merchandise Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction Participate in ongoing training and development to improve sales techniques
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others Basic math skills for processing transactions Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends Team player who thrives in a collaborative setting Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems is a plus
