Pawn Broker/Sales Associate

Job Description We are looking for motivated, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team as a Pawn Broker Associate. This is a fast-paced environment where every day is different. You'll work with a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, firearms, tools, musical instruments, luxury items, collectibles, and much more. Pawn Brokers provide short-term loans to customers using valuable items as collateral while also assisting with retail sales and customer service throughout the store. No experience in the pawn industry? No problem. We are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and has a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Evaluate pawned and pledged items Issue cash loans to customers Sell merchandise and assist customers on the sales floor Learn product values and resale pricing Merchandise inventory and maintain displays Maintain accurate transaction records Provide excellent customer service Help maintain store cleanliness and organization Follow company policies and procedures Be willing to learn and grow within the company Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Sales experience is a plus but not required Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and dependable work ethic Basic computer skills Ability to work weekends when needed Job Types Full-time Pay $14-$17 per hour depending on experience, plus monthly commission bonus.
