The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to engage with customers effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, providing product knowledge, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Small engine repair skills a plus Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and providing change as needed. Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and interest. Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting complementary items. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is well-displayed and stocked. Skills Knowledge of hardware categories a plus but training is available Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math principles is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to engage with customers confidently. Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively to promote sales.
