Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, 401k Matching Program Role Summary We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented Retail Sales Specialist to join our storefront and warehouse operations. We aren't your average shoe store: we are a specialized safety footwear and apparel distributor serving the hardworking professionals of Sulphur, Westlake, and more. In this role, you aren't just "ringing up" customers. You are a consultant helping commercial clients and the public find the exact gear they need to stay safe on the job. You will manage the customer experience from the moment they walk in until they leave with their shoes.

Key Responsibilities Expert Consultation:

Develop a deep knowledge of our safety footwear lines to provide professional recommendations based on customer needs and industry standards.

Transaction Management:

Utilize our Windows-based Point of Sale (POS) system to process sales accurately and efficiently.

Order Management:

Take ownership of the customer journey by tracking pending product orders and providing proactive follow-up communication.

Warehouse Integration:

Work seamlessly between the storefront and our attached inventory warehouse to ensure the right products are available and organized.

Team Collaboration:

Maintain a flexible "can-do" attitude, supporting your teammates to ensure the daily workload is handled with precision.

Qualifications & Skills Tech-Savvy:

Proficient in Microsoft Windows and email applications. Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically viewing/navigating spreadsheets) is a major plus.

Customer-First Mindset:

Proven salesmanship skills with a focus on high-quality service and clear communication.

Operational Reliability:

Punctuality is a non-negotiable. We take pride in being there for our customers exactly when we say we will.

Physical Ability:

Comfortable being on your feet and able to lift 10lb+ boxes as needed for inventory management.

Industry Experience:

Previous retail experience is preferred, particularly in footwear, industrial supplies, or occupational apparel.

$14.00•$16.00 per hour
