Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to engage customers and provide them with an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, and contributing to the overall success of the store. Duties Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services offered in-store. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a visually appealing store layout. Perform retail math calculations to assist with inventory management and sales reporting. Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills and phone etiquette. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards upselling and meeting sales targets. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A team player who is willing to contribute positively to the store's atmosphere.
