  • Full-time Join the JODS Team — Where Equestrian Style Meets the Show Circuit Do you have a passion for equestrian fashion and life on the horse show circuit?
JODS is looking for a full-time team member to join our unique, mobile equestrian boutique. Founded in 2006 by two sisters, JODS is a curated retailer of high-quality equestrian apparel, traveling to premier hunter/jumper horse shows along the East Coast. We're not your typical retail job—this is an opportunity to combine your love of horses, fashion, and travel into one dynamic role. What Makes This Role Unique Spend winters in Wellington, FL at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) Travel to top hunter/jumper horse shows throughout Maryland, Virginia, New York, and Vermont Enjoy a mix of fast-paced show weeks and a more flexible off-season schedule Be part of a small, passionate team working directly with the owners We're ideally looking for someone based in, or willing to relocate to, Wellington, FL. Housing is provided during travel outside of Florida. Please refer to our horse show schedule here: https://jods.com/pages/calendar Candidates must be willing to travel to these horse shows. What You'll Do Create a welcoming, personalized shopping experience for customers Build product knowledge and confidently style riders for the ring and beyond Manage sales transactions and assist with inventory tracking (Shopify POS) Help set up and break down our boutique at horse shows Maintain an organized, visually appealing retail space Pack and ship online orders Drive a cargo van transporting merchandise between shows What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with basic tech skills (spreadsheets, POS systems) Knowledge of equestrian apparel and horse show culture Willingness to travel frequently and work weekends Physically able to lift and move merchandise (up to 30 lbs) Social media and photography skills preferred The Lifestyle & Perks Travel the East Coast horse show circuit during the summer and early fall Winter season in Wellington (Jan-March) at WEF Reduced schedule during the off-season (Oct-Dec & May) Several weeks of paid time off annually Flights provided between Florida and summer show locations Housing covered during travel For Wellington-based employees, you'll spend about 8 months of the year at home, with travel primarily during the summer circuit. Growth Opportunities This role goes beyond retail. You'll work closely with the founders and have the opportunity to grow into areas such as store management, product selection and buying, social media management, and online retail development.
